Love it! No one has told Tandy that he's in a GT car.

Looks like Gavin is stuck unless the grass has dried out a lot. Tread very carefully Olly.
I had to pop out just before Tandy pulled off that amazing pass Can anyone give me a summary? Edit - Reversing on track again, at a more dangerous location than Keating's car was. |

That was interesting and nerve racking to watch.
Shame. Minor mistake at the apex and then into the wet grass. T1 us treacherous atm. |

Not really sure what to say about the reversing. No way the cars can get out without using gravity on the wet grass. Is it fundamentally much different to rejoining driving forwards in the same spot? |

Tandy has got past Hand now. 3secs off the overall podium.
It's so so SOOO embarrassing listening to the commentators try to defend the Mazda effort. Apparently there's nothing wrong with that car mechanically. |

Tandy is past Joey Hand. Someone should remind him that's a 911 he's driving, not a 919.
Even in this weather you can see more from the front than you can from the rear so I would say that's enough of a difference in terms of safely rejoining the track. However it's not the rejoining cars' fault that the field is still going past at racing speed (IIRC there was only a single yellow for the #4). |

Mazda defense seems to go hand in hand with DeltaWing and a Japanese works entry. They don't want to upset teams. It's a shame they aren't as blunt as they should be. |

Which he has just taken. His charge should be abating now though, he's been doing the same sort of times as the top two DPs. |

Fittipaldi has binned it! FCY called even though he makes it out pretty quickly.
Another one for reversing onto the track but I'm going to have to drop it. But he did pass a PC under yellow... Tandy into second, albeit the shuffle will put him a few cars behind Westbrook. |

If the rain stays like it is, this will go the full 10 today. If there's a downpour at anytime, I think it would be game over.

If the GT guys remain this close as the race progresses it would be a real shame if pitstop protocol denies them a real shot at the win - especially in the event of a late caution.

The FCY procedure might just save the P class' blushes. And if the FCY continues to be called for weather like this that goes against the superior mechanical grip of the Porsche/GTLM cars. |

So is Fittipaldi being punished for overtaking under yellow?
And the yellow was for "track conditions", rather than the DP off the road? It's like this is run by NASCA...ah yeah. |
