Also surprised Pla or Derani aren't in the 708. Perhaps they will be for the hyperpole? I mean all Hypercars make it to the Hyperpole session by default of there only being 5 of them!

I don't see the official FIA timing as having the most accurate info on what driver is in which car.

Nothing to show yet for glinken.. wonder if they are going to just save it for the hyperpole since is probably lots of traffic now to be able to set a clean quick lap

I wish there was a better sync in pictures/timing. Always is off.

That #64 Corvette is a stunner. And that's from a prototype fan!

Martin Haven is now agreeing with us on how this one hour session really doesn't work because of traffic.

These improved times are probably in part related to conditions. It is a lot cooler today verses the test day.

Albuquerque doesn't need to worry. It's better to start further forward, but starting a 24 hour race in 12th when you've probably got the fastest car is a very minor setback. The sort of time you could lose with a spin. |

I think we might see times dropping into the low 25s high 24s for the hyperpole

It's still unclear whether anyone in the top class went for a true qualifying laptime. Since all 5 advance to hyperpole there was no incentive to treat this session any differently to any other practice.

I don't think any of the top class were pushing it at all.
As a Le Mans regular ('Depressed of the New Forest') I find it quite crushing to see so few people there. OK, some of the grandstands are quite full, but there are hardly any people on the 'tribunes' as we call them. |

Yeah I guess if you're Glick you use these sessions to focus solely on race pace, then use the short Hyperpole session to get one or two fast flyers in

- more likely to be caught up in early incidents in the pack - being held up by slightly slower (and hence much harder to overtake) fellow LMP2s The latter, given how close LMP2 is, is going to be key for all of the top teams in the class. |
