Accuweather - who may well share same sources as the Weather Channel, are saying pretty much the same thing.

I suspect the sort of summers we've had in Northern Europe the past few years might have to be regarded as the new normal.

To be honest, while a nice warm Le Mans would be nice, I can live with a forecast like this - I don't look great in shorts, some of the best moments of common cause camaraderie in the campsite have come when the heavens have opened (think it was 2009 when we had a monumental storm on Friday night and we ended up lashing tents together?), and the mixed weather chucks a whole number of variables into the race that could throw all the predictions out the window.

Either way - there will be weather at Le Mans this year, and I'm pretty sure we'll manage to cope with it.

Still, I'd rather see your very white legs then having Audi handed the very sure advantage of rain...
