Yeah, phone Setanta direct, Sky are trying to pull a fast one. It's really worth the 15 quid IMO. And they're giving us the old Motors TV TOCA coverage too.

JPM holds steady during this cycle of pit stops, is now up to 7th.
Edit: JPM fastest on the last lap Edit 2: JPM up to 6th, as the rookie passes the 2004 cup champion. |

I gotta say... it's been three weeks since I've seen a Cup race and, for the first half of this race, I really wasn't getting that buzz about watching. But I'm really starting to enjoy this! My three favourite drivers - Stewart, Dale Jr and Montoya are all showing well too... fantastic Unfortunately, my money is on one of the Hendrick cars for the win tho...

If JPM is this good after a dozen races, how good will he be after 2-3 years???? Stewart was medicore at best during his first 30 or so stock car races. JPM is adapting even better than him--and he is doing it in the cup series, not the busch series.

Atlanta 500 is a long old race, it takes time to settle into. But it's great if you just give it time.

JPM and Stewart have been trading fastest laps (fastest on a given lap, not the fastest lap of the day like in F1).

You can tell when a driver is confident when he runs up to the wall through the turns and flicks slightly sideways on exit.
