The later dinner on a Saturday night that we had (7.30) did allow people to have plenty of time to get there and even squeeze in a pit walk, however everyone is conscious of needing to get up very early on the Sunday morning and so you feel a little rushed, so either a Friday night dinner or a 6.30 - 6.45 Saturday night time may suit everyone a little better ?? |

When I walked through back to campgrounds I found the back gate locked. Luckily I found the gatekeeper who let me through . A lovely night out thank you Reload.

Thanks to Brad for coming up with the idea & carrying it through. Great to meet you all, even if I struggled with remembering all the names. Deal us in for next year. |

Ill be keen for next year as I plan to hand my holiday forms in a lot earlier so I don't miss out on camping for 4 days, and yes I agree, the Friday night sounds like a better idea....

One less in 2015
No way to sugar coat this, so I'll be blunt. It is with sadness, that I pass on the news of the sudden death of fellow Tententher dinner guest, and good mate, Peter Holmes, aka Pigs Fly.
Pete was in the white polo shirt, street side of the table on my right. Regards, Chris |

Wow, oh ****! That's shocking.
I always enjoyed his posts, RIP pigs fly. Nice to say a quick gday to reload, sorry I didn't get to chat to more of you. Don't be shy next year, come to the garage and yell out any kind of crap you like, I'll give you a tour. |

Very sad to hear of Peter's passing - condolences to his family and friends.
Might have to put that in the memory bank. Was yours the pit with the Ferrari FF (I think) out the back? |

Yes, that's us. I drove the FF home. Seemed to get lost, and found myself ripping through the roads in Oberon, taralga down to Goulburn. Oh well.... |

Gotta watch out for pigs too, roos and wombats are bad enough but I wouldn't want to nudge a tusker in the FF - there were a couple of fresh carcasses on the road, hopefully it was the logging trucks that got them. |

Firstly sad news on Peter. My condolences to his family and friends.
Thanks for organising the dinner Reload. Nice job. Was good having a chat with a few of you. Not sure who's camera was used but could the photo of the group be posted or sent to me. I would prefer the dinner to be on the friday next year as it give more time after the meal to chat to the rest of the tenners, as this year i left early so i could get a little sleep. |

Happy to organise it again for next year and Friday certainly seems like the way to go. Apologies for anyone who may not be able to get to Bathurst before Saturday, however it's all a bit rushed on the Saturday night with the early start the next morning. |

Ditto the photo!!
Maybe this is the incentive I need to get up there earlier! Next year I am bringing the ute, and will sleep in the back, under the canopy. As I can put a platform on the canopy racks, any suggestions for a good spot - Mountain Straight I presume? I don't think I will be moving the ute about during the day, though I got some good stuff over at the Chase ... |
