Does anyone know if Super GT is on British TV this year? Doesn't seem to be listed on Motors TV's website. Is there any other way of watching it if it isn't? I used to enjoy watching this series.

Masaaki Bandoh(chairman of GTA) clarified that the proposal by ITR was an enactment of the uniform technical regulation including not only Japan and Germany but the United States(GRAND-AM?).

I'm pleased to see that the GT300 class is making up the majority of the field.
I wonder if the introduction of the latest GT500 rules could spark the beginning of the end for the class. |

GT300 always made up the majority of the field... GT500 was rarely above 15 or 16 cars. So the field there is a little smaller this year, but nothing dramatic.

Oh, I didn't realise that. I'm obviously not following it closely enough!
Having said that I often look through the race results and I'd never noticed that only 1/3 of the cars are in the top class. Still, down with the 500 class. 35+ gt300's would be awesome

Anyone notice that(so far) that the NISMO team is the only GT500 teams to use Michelin tires on their cars-is Nissan's factory team on to something, or is it to standardize on their FIA GT GT-Rs, or does Nissan's biggest stake holder Renault(a French company) have something to do with it?

Accroding to AUTOSPORT(print ed),
Drive system of Legacy B4(#62) was changed from AWD into FR. When the Suzuka offcial test was done, the car was already FR. So no AWD car in GT. The VRH34A engine block of Nissan is not a diversion of the cylinder block of a road use production engine. |
