Chris Hobson should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
All the BMMC forms were hand delivered to the MSA yesterday ( I had a Race Committee meeting). Not only are BMMC volunteering numbers up, but so are most of the other clubs.

This means, I am afraid, that the selection committee that sits in the new year will have to make some hard decisions as to who is accepted. The numbers are limited by the F1 organisers (they only issue a set number of tabbards to the MSA and it is that that decides on the numbers who get the pleasure of marshalling at the event). The MSA cannot accept more than that number even if they want to.

Before anyone asks if they can influence the decison the answer is "No" - the Chiefs of each discipline will review all the forms and make their decisions. The MSA will then send out the confirmation letters. As soon as I get to know when the selection meeting is I will let you all know and I will try to find when the letters will be sent out.

if i can read my name; and i think i can - it means me and dad are on the list

and i even used a semi-colon, i think it was correct. As both parts are equally important but if not no doubt it'll be corrected
Im going crazy

Now that would be telling... Oh, go on then you twisted my arm. I'm Martin MacBean, I was on the pit wall at this year's GP & I once helped (hindered) you out in my first & probably last time in assembly @ Rockingham a couple of years ago. I caused chaos with the Minis when I read the grid sheet upside down & started gridding them up in reverse order despite the drivers being very organised & driving from the paddock in grid order.

LOL I don't remember that, you sound like you were scarred for life by it though . That was always the highlight of Rockingham, the only circuit where one can be Secretary of the Meeting and Chief Paddock all at the same time!

You're a woman, you keep telling us (mere men) you can multi-task, so where was the problem?

As there are quite a few to send out, you'll find some will get theirs before others. Don't worry too much, if you've been accepted you WILL receive your letter.

Yeah it's just that our postman seems to have number dyslexia (sp??)

Somedays we get post, some days we don't & more often than not someone in the road gets it. We're thinking of arranging a meeting @ 5pm every night outside number 1 to exchange mail back to the intended recipients.
Royal Mail didn't seem overly bother when we called them about it, one reply we had was "at least you get it in the end". Made me genuinely smile that reply.
I'll keep an eye out fingers crossed.
Thanks Chris
