some people, no the van hit me £1200 worth of damage so it goes in on tuesday with the van drivers company prefering to pay the jaguar bodyshop direct rather than going through the insurance, hopefully will be done in a week, rather fancy one of those performance vans but it appears they are giving me a citroen C3

Sadly, it looks like the Golf has to go. It's only 245K miles up, and 13 years old. They just don't make cars like they used to!
This year would have been it's 5th visit. At least it got it's 6th trip to Spa done last weekend. There will be a new Nikon, plus lenses for 2012. the old Oly just cannot cut it anymore. I got it in 2004, and DSLRs have come on in leaps and bounds, since. The Nikon should be good at night, with a top bat ISO of 25600! It's a bit noisy up there though, but it seems quite happy around 6400... |

Are you sponsored by the same people who sponsored Jetalliance in 2009 and gave them one such thing as pit garage decoration?

How cool is that!
Makes my rather small chandelier look tiny and humble in comparison! |

I'm looking at buying a headset with FM radio. Anyone got recommendations? I've looked at the expensive Peltor, but I might like something a little bit less expensive...

Well, I've posted about mine before - not cheap at all (around the £70 mark) but superb!

I'm still having radio issues. Went the cheap and cheerful route last year and it worked to a certain extent. Got the occasional KERRRRSSSHSHSHH in my ears which did the job keeping me awake at certain points. But if anyone has any links to decent, sturdy reliable radios I'd be grateful. Not a lot around really on amazon.

I rarely listen to the radio usually so don't want to pay much for this one event. Anyone found any cheap but reliable radio's?

I'm going for these:
http://www.harald-nyborg.dk/p1180/bu...evaern-m-radio And if i'm going to be a little bit social (not sure it's possible other than the 10-10ths meeting), i got a small pocket radio too. |

About £16? Looks a good price. The beauty of these things - despite being a little anti-social (but then all three of our little group wear them so it doesn't really matter!), is the sound-deadening. Yes, I love to hear the cars, but I also want to hear RLM, and you can - perfectly!
