MAMA! The new ferrari notice the pictures at dailyF1.com.
the car is a lot more sexy than ever -the Williams seemed the same to me, but witha keen eye you can see the beauty in the new ferrari. notice the body work tuck in slightly before the rear wheel-from a top view just like it has a bit of a waist and the flipped up body work over the rear wheels-what are those called-and the front suspension is wider and flatter like mclaren used, very nice

The future DOES look bright!!!!!!!!

OK, Rory was one of the guys who usually did not speak much. And when he did, certainly the tone was not the 'we kick everyone's arse'. When Rory says something like that, everyone should stand up and take notice:

Last year I predicted that the F2002 would prove to be the best Ferrari F1 car ever and it proved to be the most successful. We have not yet run the F2003-GA but so far all our performance objectives have been reached or exceeded, so I am confident that the F2003-GA will be the best Ferrari F1 car ever.

Boys, I believe that the Ferrari's objective for the 2003 season should be no less than 16 1-2. Preferrably 1 lap ahead the 3rd placed car. Yeeeeeeessss!!!

PS:

Mamacita!

Red, it is good to see you this happy, but let's see how she runs before we predict a season sweep of the top 2 podium spots!

I am thinking though that your prediction will not be far off base...

Did I say that the new baby is hot? I don't think I said it all:

2. very close integration with the car design, with the final development resulting in a reduction in weight (of the order of between 4 and 5%,) the lowering of the roll-centre and a new layout of the engine ancilliaries and the cooling and lubrication systems.

The engine project was carried out and evolved alongside that of the car in a completely integrated fashion: the 052 can only be fitted to the new F2003-GA car.

Architectural characteristics: the engine block is completely new and manufactured by microfusion, the heads are lowered, all in an evolution of the structures used in the final B version of the 051. The engine features innovative materials where applicable for various functions. One specific evolution is in the area of fuel and engine oil, carried out with the invaluable support of Shell. In terms of performance, development will be continuous with evolutionary steps already planned into the programme. Maximum engine revs at the start of the season will be around 200 rpm higher than that on the 051.

As usual, we will not disclose a horsepower figure, but rest assured, that once again this year, all the Ferrari engine specialists will work in methodical and determined fashion to provide “sufficient” horsepower, delivered in a “useable” and “reliable” fashion to reach our goals in the F1 championship

Geez Red, for a Team that is supposedly so secretive and all, there is quite a lot of detail about the new car. I am extremely impressed that while the changes are incremental they seem to be well-thought out and targeted very deliberately to the areas they wanted to improve.

Maybe you are right there, my friend! It may not be a question of how many wins but by how much will they win.

Ok, so how long until Ron and Patrick start their "Ferrari are cheating" rumours? And when will be the first "Ferrari F2003 not being used because it is under investigation" thread?

Or "Ferrari has flexing bodywork - you can see it in the video!"

Or "Ferrari are using illegal Canooter Valves!"

Or "Ferrari are transmitting engine performance changes through Rubens' Palm Pilot!"

Williams and Mc are going to get great data from their drivers on what the back of the F2003 - GA looks like, methinks.

Is it really so exciting?? I only find really interesting the shape of the sidepods, but the rest is pretty much like last year.

And please, drop the white barge boards! Weren't the red ones used until 2001 okay or what? Don't tell me it's for the Vodafone logo...
