Now Mr Thurston has been discharged from the Asylum, he fully intends to play with a tweaked Prelude in this series in 2007. God help anyone in front of him; hes recharged and raring to go..

NO V8's, thats me out then unless I fit the very potent V6 chevy/pontiac/buick lump and turbo charge it then again maybe not, where did that come from then, I thought it was meant to be cheaper racing an they dont come much cheaper than a small block Chevy. Hey Graham you hav'nt been down Ipswich way lately in that blue BMW of yours have you? :-)

err no al im afraid the beemer hasnt turned a wheel since august.

the main idea behind tin tops is to give starter/ inexperenced / occasional drivers or those who simply race slowish cars somewhere to race, which isnt a catagory i'd put you in anyway al, we are trying to keep the speed differencial between the fastest and slowest cars a lot closer than DTRC, which is why no V8 and restrictors in rwd forced induction motors

you could fit a turbo V6 but then again would you want it to breath through a 32mm restricter

Are we now racing at silverstone in april instead of august, now that BTCC have confirmed that there is to be no Silverstone for them now. If so does that mean August bank holiday is free

As of yet I have had no word on this.

It will depend if Peterborough motorclub are going to take back their original date or whether they have set another one.

Good move Tim.

I can't make any promises Andy. But its only one round out of 10, and as previous years you can only score from 8 so its not the end of the world.

After the fateful day you may just get those 'deadly words' - that is either -or and car is mentioned as well. Be nice to mother in law, with her on side it might be easier !!!!!

If it's front wheel drive with that sort of power it'll be an absolute pig to drive, if it's swapped to RWD or 4WD it'll be in class A
