First flying lap was 4 minutes dead, so if he can keep that up they should be OK I think.

When I watched his previous stint he maintained a high 3:50's to low 4:00's.

Just depends when it updates and the guys cross the line. It'll say 1 lap for 2m50 of the 3m50 lap.

Because when the Ford crosses the line, it's on lap 295 and the Porsche is still on 294 (because it's 2 minutes behind). So the screen isn't smart enough to say it's still a 2 minute gap, it just says "oh the gap is now 1 lap!" then when the Porsche crosses the line it updates to 2 minutes, before the Ford crosses again and puts it a "lap ahead".

If you watch the timing closely and picture where the cars are, you'll spot the real gap.

Now 2m 50 (down from 2:52) but at this rate it'd take 80 laps to close the gap. Looking good for Keating.
