Dorsey is also the one who started pronouncing Peugeot "Poo Joe" eventually leading all the SPEED announcers to say it that way

^has been happening most of the race but seems to be getting worse - not good for the engine, just depends on where its actually coming from, and if they can keep up with the loss of oil

They had to rebuild the barriers. Thats why the caution is so long.

Yeah and surprisingly only one is due to a mechanical issue. I remember when if you got an LMP2 to the morning you were doing something special.

The last time I've seen such barrier damage in ALMS it was a red+checkered flag. Not sure what Grand Am would do.

Got up a 5am this morning to watch the start, and been here all day.

Some quick thoughts:

1. Sick over the Simonsen incident; just sick and sad.
2. Really glad that Scott Pruett finally went to bed. Had my fill of him on Speed after 30 seconds with his 'expert' color commentary. What, he drove LeMans 2 times? Maybe 3?
3. Crazy freak thing with the No. 1 Audi alternator. Why put something inside the gearbox that could fail?
4. Glad so far for the 'Old Guys #2 Audi'. Keep it up guys.
5. Simply amazed at the fight in GTE Pro. Bet some BOP stuff coming for A-M and Porsche next race.
6. I'm loving this.
7. Will try to make it to 6am PDT.

Did the same except had to start watching at 10.30 pm in OZ so its been a very long day , getting a second wind now but reckon i.m going to struggle in about 3 hrs. Great race but a truly sad one hope Aston do it for AS.
