Still, would be a good fit though

Or would the bigpuddle sponsorship of the category exclude such a sponsor for a car?

Who will be the favourite now that it will be a full length track?

S.Richo has come out in favour of the full length track, and saying there will be more overtaking.

I think we can count on him to overtake about halfway.... at which point it ceases to be overtaking anymore.

so is there anything more murky in the background than what has been told about the switch of engineers at HRT?

I don't really think so, I think its just one of those things you do in a large organisation. Different people work differently and sometimes its best for your development to work with someone who speaks a different language.

No more sinister than dismantling a twice-championship winning team, then welding that into the existing "mother ship" superstructure...

Casualties are a cost of war arent they?

they would of been better off just swapping shirts, and liveries, rather then try to mix and match.

My Favourite 08 moment was when Courtney/Besnard comeback drive at Bathurst. Courtney raced through to dominate the opening stint had 15 sec. gap to Lowndes who was in 2nd. In the 2nd stint a slowly deflating tyre (originally diagnosed as a damaged anti-roll bar) slowed Besnard's stint in Courtney's car allowing Whincup to assert dominance over the field rest of the race. On lap 160 S.Richards, fading badly on rear tyres was unable to stop Courtney move into 3rd place.

Tim Slade will compete with the number 47 on the window of his Stone Brothers Racing-prepared Ford Falcon FG in this year’s V8 Supercar Championship Series.

The 24-year-old selected the #47 as a tribute to the owner of the Racing Entitlements Contract James Rosenberg – as Rosenberg was born in 1947.

Any truth to the rumour that With Paul Morris starting the season in #51 for Murph, this will effectivly under the rules make morris the main driver as he started the season in the car, freeing murph up for a bathurst assult with ingall????

That would appear to be the case but the rules can always be 'clarified'. The big issue of course is that Castrol won't allow Murph to drive the Supercheap car and have ruled out a dual livery. Unless Supercheap would let Rusty drive the Castrol car... Its not impossible but you could say its difficult either way. Its an intriguing possibility and V8SA lawyers should not have let the rule go past so vague.

One thing with the Morris being the primary driver of 51, does that mean that he won't be able to be paired with Ingall as was the plan of attack??
