That's ridiculous. Stewards have got to do something about this.

Not to mention a 1 billion dollar fine and a lifetime ban from ACO racing.

This is motor racing, not a benefit event for Audi and their friends in the media.

Pathetic excuse. If Rob Kaufmann gets excluded for what he 'did' then the Peugeots deserve serious warnings. I know it's different because a serious incident hasn't happen but it is still dangerous driving.

Having said all of that, this is racing. Let's just hope something doesn't or else all hell will break loose.

I fully expect one of the Peugeots to put the Audi into the wall on purpose before the race is over. It's not like they weren't trying to right now.

@Acid: There's only one pathetic thing going on right now.

Davidson on Twitter :

Just finished my last 3.5hr stint of the race. Tired, drenched, bruised and battered. Great fun playing with the vulnerable solo Audi! :-)

Manning up would be the Peugeot not weaving when someone's trying to lap him. A battle for the lead? Fair enough. Being lapped? Stop blocking and just get out of the way

Yes and if it had been the pug that wasnt 4 laps down then this is the attitude i think everyone would have but if your 4 laps down you shouldnt be fighting like this with the leader.

Robertson Racing only 4 laps down on the Ferrari in the pits. Come on Robertson's! Would be a great achievement for the team.

If the tables were turned and it was 1 Pug against 3 Audi's Audi would be doing exactly the same thing.

But that site takes the data from the aco timing site so if the aco site is glitchy the data on Thomas site is glitchy too.

whilst contact is well out of order, I don't think it's as bad as some folk here are making out - yes, Gene crossed a line there, but the backing up and 'playing', as Davidson describes it, is legitimate. It's a team game being played to the limit by both teams.

Nightstalker, couldn't agree with you more (though I feel the Audi's may be more likely penalised if it were).

Try to annoy and impede them where they can? Sure. Try to put the other car off the road because there's only one and you could accept losing one of your three with accident damage? I doubt it.

Agreed, would be great and hopefully ensure their determination to come back with 2 cars again.

Even when you're four laps down and the leader is trying to lap you? Is it really acceptable to try and run them off the road?

Its nothing to do with fan preferences, its about dirty, dangerous driving.

The thing is here. No blue flags for a Peugeot blocking an Audi. Something blocked the Pesca a few laps back and there were loads of blue flags. One rule for the French, one for everyone else.
