Those are transit wheels.

They are too damaged to race on, but hold air so perfectly fine for rolling into or out of the truck.

Yes, the fluro sticker job.

Pretty much every team has a similar system.

Visual indicator to not put the junk rubber, that's not part of the event's tyre bank onto the car for track use.

Hmm, I've always seen the spoke colouring used as a quick reference to the position of the tyre valve, guess there's various systems in place though.

Loving the Nissan livery idea, unique for this category.

Some retro Volvo action - how about 3 hub caps from a hardware store, a picnic basket on the roof and a beret for the driver, all the while doing 40km/h in the right lane with his left indicator on?

That does look super cool.

re the Volvo Dealer Racing - you wonder if the legal action is somehow trying to force Sweden to budge instead of allowing VCA to be sued, but it is a sad story that we're talking about it like we are instead of wondering how they are going to go in the race.

Yep, an opportunity gone begging.

They do however, seem to getting some milage out of not doing it.

My only guess for them not doing it is the cost involved.

The same colour scheme the VDT used just prior to their 1986 implosion and withdrawal from the Australian racing scene.
