Robertsons and the Ford GT may end up on podium???

That may almost make up for my Pescarolo heartbreak

Also, shame the second Robertson car (pro) and the Young Driver AMR Vantage with TE couldnt make it in, instead we got the AMR SIXLAPS.

Uh Oh, off the circuit. Time for the ACO braintrust to call the team manager to the race director again.

Looking good for the Robertson Ford, JMB Ferrari still pretty ill according to Graham Goodwin. Shame for them. Even if Robertson come home in 4th they will be over the moon.

Apparently it's David and Andrea's wedding anniversary! Haha cool...best way to spend it, period.

I havent felt this good for a team in sports car racing for a while other than the oreca and pescarolo win this year. Thanks, big thanks from a ford supporter for bringing that car to Le Mans because the idiots at Ford Motor Company in Detroit certainly wont.

An unbelieveable amount of personal time, money and effort has been put into this project. The sheer scale of the undertaking is unreal. This is what keeps sportscar racing alive and makes brings it to the 'masses.' It's great to see.

Now that would be a brilliant story. Husband and wife enthusiast team celebrate their wedding anniversary with a podium finish at Le Mans

I wish some more people would do it, When i first started watching Sportscar racing there were quite a few small teams involved in GT, LMP2 even into LMP1 but now it seem these small personal teams are becoming quite rare.

How far back? Lap down? Don't think the timing is overly up to date..

Also, they have really come a long way in a couple of months. They were a disaster at the le mans test day and a mobil chicane during one of the practices, but then we saw how much they improved the setups to become actually pretty competitive during the race. How much money, and effort is right, and to pay off with a good run and a good result is incredible.

And the #56 is ready to challenge the #51 Ferrari, just needs to get the lap back on it.

I think it comes down to the sheer cost of the exercise if you're going to do it properly and the geniune resources it takes to run a proper team. Sponsors would be hard to come by for an amateur team. I think categories like GT3 provide the best place for privateer teams on a reasonable budget but an undertaking like Le Mans/ILMC is another step up.

The BMW pitted and still remained in front of the 77 so it is quite a bit back still. Has to be right around a lap I would think right now after the 77 pitted.
If they can keep making time on the 56 then they might have a chance if the pit stops finish in Porsches favor.

I will always respect the Robertsons, Pescarolos, Muscle Milks ect of the world. Love watching small teams that end up successful.

I haven't cared much for Audi since they decided to go down the diesel route but they've really been up against it throughout this race and against all the odds the #2 car has performed really well and I think they thoroughly deserve the win (if it happens).

Regarding strong arm tactics; any other full factory efforts would probably do exactly the same thing at this stage of the race whether it be Audi vs Peugeot, Toyota vs Mercedes or Porsche vs Ferrari... this is high stakes racing and perhaps the only way to get rid of the unsporting behaviour is to allow just 1 entry per team thereby getting rid of team tactics - or perhaps making future LM races available to privateer entries only?

Yeh don't think the BMW will catch the Ferrari, more likely the Porsche will get the Bimmer.

And pretty good prep from Kronos... I am amazed it is still running. Maybe prodrive should subcontract the AMR prep to them... Kronos seemed to do ok in the WRC a couple of seasons ago
