The live timing right now has some of the names of the Porsche GT3 Drivers:
http://www.imsaracing.net/2009/event...%20entries.pdf But it still has the times from the ALMS session. That's where the weird names are coming from. |

There's a pretty obvious bug going on with the database not refreshing when sessions change. Would be nice if they could fix that though, I think that was the cause of the GT3 replacing GT1 yesterday too.

I do still love them as well, especially the sound of the turbowastegates back then. And the neat black and green livery, however the Dyson livery is also very striking |

Speaking of liveries, that Farnbacher Loles car with the charms on the hood might be the worst thing I've ever seen.

I'm sure no Farnbacher-Loles Porsche without the money behind the charms would be worse!

Any word on the rumored Jaguar (or some other mfr) announcement that might come sometime this weekend?

Ten Tenths Supported Spotter Guide is now up and online.
Following requests, we've squeezed even more info on the sheet, now you have simple helmet graphics. Hats off to almost every team and the ALMS who helped with this guide. Still a few things to sort like wheel designs and colouration for round2 (and the VICI liveries), but its a start. PDF and JPEG at www.spotterguides.com PS: If you are going to Sebring, I have also assisted with the design for an Official ALMS Spotter Guide leaflet (similar to this, but fold out) and this will be available at the circuit in aid of the Austin Hatcher Foundation - a charity which supports research towards a cure for pediatric cancer and support to children and families affected by this. Not sure if this will be available outside the paddock- but thought I'd mention it |

The #7 Peugeot will not roll today. The front of the monocoque has a small crack. A new monocoque will arrive tomorrow.
Not a good start for Peugeot after the small crash of Bourdais with the #8 yesterday. source: http://www.endurance-info.com/versio...rance-490.html |

Ya, I do not think that those two accounts are contradictory. That car, the chassis with the cracked tub, will not race. Replacement on the way, it seems.

Maybe #62 Ferrari-it's the only car not reported in pit road, or session may be over-they've been out there for over an hour-unless it's an 1 1/2 session like in testing.

I agree with this interpretation - DSC also states a new tub will be flown over, and suggests that the team feels a manufacturing defect could be the cause of the crack. Fun times for Pug - definitely having their running restricted relative to Audi. Bet they thought it would be the other way around!

The red flag came out with over 5 minutes left of the session, they then threw the chequered flag with 1:40 left becasue they obviously couldnt get the track clear intime to restart it.

So will the 07 have to start at the back of the grid if they change their tub?
