Has anyone got some news if there are new trackworks planned for this winter, Pit exit looked like a building site in June.
Maybe some of you out there can keep us informed with pictures? |

Did someone mention the fact that it always seems to be on Fathers Day(UK)? that too would put it on the 14/15 June.

So what are we looking at as for grid in '08?
P1: I understood Dome has built a new car, but is thinking about joining forces with a 'car manufactor' (Nissan?) which to me looks really bad for RfH P2: the arrival of the Porsche Spyder with Equippe Verschuur are Honda/Acura any further with their plans? GT1: anybody knows about that privateer that wants to enter a Ford GT(43)? (forgot their name) will we see the Lambo return? GT2: any more news on Alfa entering their car? |

The Ford was a GT3 project, I'm afraid we won't see RfH in 2008....

Allright, but that doesn't mean RfH is dead.
I think Jan Lammers still wants to drive at Le Mans (with RfH) even if it has to be in a Lada... |

Didn't Jan once say it was LMP1 or nothing?

Mick Jagger said he would never sing "Satisfaction" when he'd be 40 as well and now he sings it at 60. I honestly think Jan wants to be competitive to be there so an LMP1 for the sake of it would not cut it. We saw this year that the Dome 101.5 was no Audi but it could put a decent lap at Le Mans, however the project was only affordable through sponsorship and once that was gone...gone was the team. Maybe a lower budget effort like LMP2 is a good alternative, at least you can get on top of the podium and not take comfort in being just "best of the rest". Frans Verschuur with a sizeable budget wants to go and shake the LMP2 class with a Spyder. True, he does not have the LM experience and CV Jan has on the race of races but I think it is a very valid option and one where a "standard" privateer package (Lola, Zytek) can get you really far. Barazi was not a winner in 2006 in the Courage, less so in 2005..look at them now. Look at Quifel ASM or RML": All of them very good and professional efforts which RfH could at least match in all areas. Another subject is the relation-dependancy-link Lammers-Dome but that we might need to analyze over a beer and invite Paddy as well...ey!! maybe I got you the subject you were looking for after all !!!!

I know the ACO haven't confirmed the date's yet, but I have just found a cracking Ferry deal which I am tempted to book. I reckon its going to be 14/15 June does anyone agree with those dates?
