Well, historically, we haven't actually selected locations for our track, thus not influencing the naming of the track.

I know - but, we don't have to let that be the case, maybe we should name the turns in a variety of ways, each of choose turns to name, and name them according to our own theme? Or would you prefer a running theme, if so the location of the track doesn't have to influence that.

Of course, I knew Paul wasn't suggesting we make that much changes... hence the wink.

However, the idea of putting a track somewhere on a real location is pretty cool. Didn't we try that before? The difficulty with it is, though, that we really should take gradient and stuff into mind.

haha I see!

I agree about gradient, but - if we can't measure it, we can make it up.

True. And we've proven to be very, VERY good at making things up!

Not that Bunnik is very far away from where I live. A 40 minute driver, tops.

Ok. Well - we've only got 36 posts to go, so we better speed up the decision process a bit .

I'm OK with Pirenzo's latest design, with the altered Lesmos.

Surely the track is just as good whichever way you look at it?

I thought flipping it might attract comments like that. Just goes to show that 90% of our track designing is based on overall appearance (the 'shape' of it) rather than its actual design.

I always flip every circuit I do a few directions to check I still think it all works, that way I know I've given it proper thought...

Wow, it still works - but it is hideous that way round.

I think we are all settled, those whose are say "aye"

AYE (Looking for AYE's, from Pirenzo, Lustigson, T_R, Always First and any one connected with My tracks, whom for this MTR perhaps hasn't taken much part )

Well, I'm happy if I can get on with it.
Its an aye from me...

I guess Lustig is OK with it. TR is OK, Paul, you're OK, I'm OK, Always was fairly sure a few posts ago that what we have is OK.

So I'm just going to go and finish it now...

Yeah, it's great timing .

We still have to settle the corner names though.

Number them or put name labels on??

I can do whatever you guys think is best tbh.

It's finished, other than that. Just got to wait for post 10'000 really.

Number them, please. Then we'll all come up with names.

OK, here's an image with corner numbers...
Now you can all decide on the names, before 10'000 posts (you've got 20 posts to decide in )

Ah, that's way too many numbers there - corners like 2, 4, 7 and 19 needn't have names.

I'd say my numbering proposal was far easier ->

I'm with TR.

I've always liked 'Leyton House' as a name, so that's my proposal for one corner. Other names might include:

- Eagle
- Ensign
- Gordini
- Hesketh
- Matra
- Stewart
- Talbot-Lago
- Vanwall
- Wolf

(I'll leave the Brabhams and Tyrrells to you guys )

They needn't all be numbered, I just wanted to make sure when someone said "Turn 6 should be called Vanwall" for example everyone knew which corner they were talking about. I think it will be much better in the end for the image to have the actual corner names on anyway.
