WOW, the C7.R is going to be bad-ASS!

(According to Motor Trend, a lot of the design elements on the C7 Stingray are taken from the C6.R, and the Michelin Tire Engineer who works on the ALMS Corvette tires helped design the new Michelin Pilot Super Sports for this car)

I'm expecting news on the C7.R sometime this week

Not a big fan of the tail lights and the black around them, or the roof and black vent in the upper rear fender not being painted to match the body, but otherwise I like it.

Would like to see it in black though, it wouldn't make those things stand out as much.

Many, many angles and creases, with what looks to be a pretty much stand-up-straight rear spoiler. Well, an evolution of design, for sure. Can't wait to see the GTE version.

Looks lige the C6 and a Ferrari had a Baby!
But no doubt it will be a good basis for the GTE car.
Isn't Corvette the only manufacture who designs their road car with racing in mind, these days?

I was hoping it would look nothing like the leaks suggested, that Camaro-esque rear end is just awful and doesn't work well with the rest of the car IMO, aside from that I do like it and I can't wait to see the C7.R

Well, it's good looking for sure. But not as original as it could be. GM really followed Ferrari (and perhaps Viper) styling-wise. I'd like more C2 design cues, lower rear with small triple round tail lights, horizontal LED front lights (a-la Lambo Estoque) could help reinventing the original Sting Ray's edgy 'eye-less' face.
