I know it's off-topic, but Renault should focus on the RS.01 GT3 car like branding it as an Alpine and make a production model out of it, rather than continuing their "sponsorship" of an LMP2 team in World Endurance Championship.

It's probably too late for such a move and, by the way, the car is too much track focused to get a reasonable road production version out of it. The series has been probably killed to make room for the new Alpine.

If they hadn't set the ridiculous constructor limit, the ACO could persuade Alpine to design their 'own' chassis and run it...

Then I'm happy to welcome back Nissan! Who'll be running a 4wd three wheeled LMP2 that's revolutionary.

Has anyone seen the render of the Oreca 07 Oreca released today? Obvious question: where are the radiator intakes? It seems in the render to have a low nose vs the high nose of the 05, though they supposedly share tubs.

Does anyone know if Oreca is outsourcing the production of the 07 to outer-space? It is definitely a low down force enviroment.

Yes indeed.
Only Riley remaining. Let's hope that one is decent as well, although my hopes aren't that high after looking at their LMP3 car. |

Some photos of testing at Paul Ricard got released. And it still doesn't answer the question of where the radiator ducting is. Nose looks a lot like a Lola's.

There seems to be three ducts visible from the Paul Ricard pictures, one underneath each headlight cluster and one underneath the nose. Some of that will be for brakes but as you say doesn't seem to be that much for radiators

While logic suggests upgrading their current P1 cars into '17 P2s, Rebellion have enough money to spend to consider all 4 options. With the troublesome chassis adjustments to accommodate their engine switch from Toyota to AER freshly in mind, I wouldn't be surprised to see them ending up with - lets say - Dallaras.

That depends on the track temperature and how much front ride height they're running, which is the problem with that arrangement historically. Maybe with the current mandatory height of the splitter center section it actually works across all weather conditions.

Onroak now has a proper US base as they just acquired Crawford Motorsport. They are keeping the other Crawford projects - namely the F4 chassis while providing a place to service the LMP2, and LMP3 cars running stateside.
