Is it just me or is the Audi the ugliest car ever, aerodynamically efficient maybe but sure as hell the thing is butt ugly.

Not helped by the fact that VAG have one graphic designer who only designs cars from above. So the livery is a mess of lines and shapes from the side and only looks ok from promo shots from above.

Usually ugly race cars tend to be ugly when viewed head-on but the Audi even manages to be ugly in side-view.

I can't remember any other car that managed that, even the DW looked somewhat pleasing when looked at from the side.

Yep, it's very homely. That being said, I don't think any of this generation P1 cars are attractive and Audi has never built a good looking car in my eyes. Cool, yes. Handsome, no.
