Not sure why Pla isn't happy with Serra. He's not driving dangerously. Sawa keeping up but also fast in his own right which is nice to see.

The new BOP system certainly creates some close racing.

Freitas is just a figurehead with limited authority. He can report things and recommend penalties, but he's just a messenger for the officials on the stewards panel here, just like Charlie Whiting is in F1.
I'd suggest blaming Tim Mayer (who I think is a delegate or even the boss of the ACCUS) and whoever else the ACO appointed to the panel. |

You don't like the call, don't shoot the messenger. It's not like Frietas can make these calls on his own. He just reports issues to the officials, they make the final decision, he just reports their findings and rulings.
You have a beef, find out who the officials on the stewards panel and air your grievances with them. |

-Ford is the heaviest car (90 kg more then Aston) -Smallest Fuel tank -Lower boost compared to other turbo cars -Smallest capacity engine They were only faster than Ferrari at Le mans, now they are the simply slowest. FIA keep slowing down Ford GTE cars race by race. This system kills the competition. |

As pointed out, it's now a BOP class. Just be glad it's not just humans making the calls now, often seemingly on an arbitrary basis. Hopefully this will stop a lot of the politicking and race by race changes.

Regardless of BoP, the WEC Ford team just hasn't been as competitive as the IMSA team overall. This year they look a lot better, but last year they looked quite out of it.

Wasn't it also one of the IMSA teams that won LM last year? Risi was also the highest finishing Ferrari at LM last year and they're an IMSA team.

Yet, Ford are leading the GT World Endurance Drivers' & GT World Endurance Manufacturers' and Endurance Trophy for LMGTE Pro Teams Championship.
