I've gone out of class with the CRX, stripped the interior and fitted a VTEC. Doing DTR and sprints. Would be nice to race with you again though Colin.

Sorry to hear you sold it mate. Or would you be looking to upgrade to a rover?? Im busy reshelling Matts old car but its a way off yet.Trying to get the white one out of hibernation but its been hemmed in a farmers shed behind something large with the wheels removed! Might sell that one but need to get it tidied up a bit. would make a good 1st car for someone,or a nice reliable racer for someone whose peed off with mending their car after every race... Still has the 93 grand prix meeting scrute label on the roll cage! hope to see you sometime this year though ??

Err......Not a Pre-93 race per se, but a Toyo Challenge race for cars of that meet those regs.
Colin, see your PM's

That doesn't sound like its been used for a while then! or does it contain every race scrutineer label seems it first turned a wheel!

It's a shame it went, cracking little car. I've cheered myself up with an 8v vx caterham to play with Having taken it apart to replace and service some bits it may have been just as easy to build a kit! Going to do some track days this year and hope it doesn't rain when using it for work.

I'm going to be shouting words of encouragement at 'MGRacer' this season so I'll be sure to say hi if I spot you.

Colin,

Nice looking orginal car. Have you tried to post it at motorsportads? Just don't get tempted by the three on there. Despite that this one may sit nicely against the others.

From what I've heard, Louth is a street race most of the time

I mean that the rules seem to suit the cars and they look right in the series. are you coming to Silverstone?

There's a nice ruby house (curry house) in Louth, come on Colin, what's it called - was an inn (at the bottom of the hill) at one stage.

If plans had worked right, I would have been up to Cadwell at least once this year, but alas.. pigs with lufthansa on their tails.... darnit!

You are doing JohnW's Cadwell foray arn't you Colin, I will be too if my car makes it through the silverstone meeting, it should be OK but its chucking a little (a lot actually) oil out the gearbox so i am about to change the rear seal, hopefully that will cure it but oil leaks can be a bugger to diagnose.
