The color of the Courage factory was blue ; Yves changed to red this year after his wife, Liliane, passed.

im thinking this is how the LMP2 entry will pan out to be:

entered:

2 Noel Del Bello
2 Miracle (1 Auto)
2 Belmondo
1 Courage Comp (1 Auto-leased for customers)
1 Tracsport
2 WR (1 Auto)
1 Intersport (1 Auto)
1 luchini
1-2 Lola's (others)

appx 14 entries will be submitted, around 9-10 will be in. heres my predicted list

1 Courage Comp (auto)
1 Miracle (auto)
1 Intersport (auto)
1 WR (auto)
1 Luchini
1 Noel Del Bello
2 Belmondo
and maybe a new lola/surprise entry...

who knows though. i do believe however, that there should be a soild group of 9-10 cars this year (and less in LMP1 probably)

A good one, no doubt !
Policand drove a ROC Reynard VW in 2000.

With tracsport on the verge of getting their hands on a courage for next year it would be a shame if they would´t get an invitation for the prequalifying at least....

Pilbeam has a new carbon LMP2 chassis ready for 2005, named MP94.

Quote:
We have established a set of criteria from our experience in LMES, ALMS and at the 24 hours itself, planned to ensure success for all our teams. Since the MP93 complies with the new ACO regulations, our teams will no longer suffer from the smaller restrictor and smaller fuel tank imposed on the existing MP84 and MP91. This has cost an estimated 60hp compared to the Courage and Lucchini this year, so we look forward to a highly competitive 2005.
http://www.pilbeamracing.co.uk/nw051004d.html

Pilbeam is selling also its old cars: MP91-Judd (from K2), MP84-AER (from G-Force) and MP91-JVX (from PIR).

Don't know if it's mentionned yet, but Creation announces on Inforcourse that they intend to enter at least their Zytek next year in LMES and at LM, and that they try to rent the official one too !

They're trying to find some sponsorship to enter the ALMS races as well...

The car will remain in P675 specs (minimum weight : 720), as it's 740 kg now... they'll have a new Zytek engine for Laguna Seca (sorry to be OT here).

I believe Creation would like to enter "select" ALMS races next year, not the entire season. Or at least that's how I read it.
From lmsr.net:

"it is probable that the DBA will be at selected ALMS rounds in 2005, including Sebring."

Just in case, you'll find on PlanetLeMans a report on the Tracsport testes done on the Bugatti with the C65 Courage...

They intend to enter LM, LMES and some ALMS races...

Welcome back, Pilgrimage !

Two months ? I'm not sure I'm able to remember all the things, but let's say that the P2 field increased alot, with a commercial success by Courage (5 C65 sold, more to come)... And Courage to build an hybrid P1 for 2005...

Good news from Creation too, with the Zytek.

On the other hand, we may lose the Goh Audi, if not the Goh commitment (Ihope not).

Waiting for news from RFH (that's a long time, mates ! Any hints/gossips from Holland ?)...

Quick Question:

With the two differrent Sereis up and running and the system for automatic bids (24 of them) in place, I seem to recall that the invite process was going to be held much earlier...in November...for an additional 21 spots...and the final five would be filled based on parformances at Sebring 2005...

Is this still correct?

and if "Yes," when in November can we expect to see those invites announced???
