not me, all nice and peaceful so far tho the Porsches tried hard. The number of mini breakdowns in the earlier races outnumbered the recovery trucks, hence shorter race 3 for them.

So we're going to have Cammish, Turkington and Sutton winning again?

The Lexus is setup really soft. Very similar to how Ash used to like the Subaru. Interesting to watch.

Because usually those who are the best at the end have the best package- driver, car, team, luck. This is how it is in motorsport.
If Cammish loses title, he'll have nightmares about Brands Hatch. Fantastic battle between Oliphant and Sutton, was holding my breath. Honestly I wanted Ash to win but I'm kind of relieved that Tom won. And this move for first from the outside was quite a thing! And I can't really get over the bad luck of Butcher and Hill... it seems they must have run out of the whole bad luck for the season... |

Well after Brands "not being a RWD track" it's a 1 to 5 finish for RWD cars in race 3
Although i've really enjoyed the racing today I do worry about the Championship battle as Turks is a great driver in a seemingly bullet proof car and nearly always avoids the messy incidents. All 3 Honda running teams have problems. The Fords look quick, even Neate did a solid job but things came a little undone in the last race. I'm pleased Hamilton has got a top 15, yes it was down to others falling off the road etc but unlike Donnington he kept his car in one piece and brought it home. Looking forward to Oulton because the racing has been great but like I said I worry about Turks having an easy title this year |

There's no such a thing as easy title. And another thing is, it's BTCC, when was the last time when someone was so dominant that the championship battle wasn't ongoing until the last round of the season? I think a lot can still happen, Turkington may have his portion of bad luck and worse results as well.

Agreed. Turks qualified 5th here will full ballast so it's not hard to imagine a pole and two wins at Oulton, which is very much a RWD circuit and overtaking is difficult. Sutton's probably the only one who could stop him, but the car didn't seem to carry the weight very well yesterday.

Something for you stats nerds to pick over in the (not so) long break until the next race.
- Race 2 saw no points for any Honda - apparently first time that's happened since Snetterton 2015. - Race 3 had the first all RWD podium. More than that, the first 5 places were all RWD cars. Last time either of those happened would be 1991 maybe? - All drivers have now scored at least one point in this year's championship. That's been helped by a smaller entry than recent years and points being awarded down to 15th. I think the last time that happened was in 2005. Obviously that stat might change if/when we start getting driver changes or 'guest' drives. This is going to be a weird year |
