My experience of that situation with the Radicals (also at Donington) is that they do slow down considerably. You still need eyeballs on stalks though.
I'd be interested to know what the post chiefs and incident officers were reporting on the radio, mind you. |

Should let the race director stand in the gravel trap at the next round and see how he finds it.

Looking at the list of clerks for this meeting, so far as I know they've all been there before. With one exception who I don't know, they've all been marshals before for some years before training up as clerks.

Hopefully will be reviewed and lessons learnt, just not what you expect to see in 2024.

Cant believe how late this race is. Is there no curfew?

They are exceptionally lucky to be at Donington. Few other circuits are allowed to run so late.

I've always said that a condition of holding a race licence at any level should be to day a day's marshalling on the bank - that would soon lead to a reduction of speeds under yellow and double yellow flags.

That works in some forms of club racing, but as soon as other people's money is involved the approach changes somewhat.

Sutton is an animal!
And so is Moffat. Great racing. |

Didn’t think Moffat would be the one to get that from the top four - great race!
Interesting how Cook and Cammish had no pace there compared to their teammates. Restart Cupra looked a bit of work. Early days of course |

What a superb race , hats off to Moffat for holding off that gaggle of champions with some very clever hybrid use.
I thought the Corollas would win races but I didn't think Aiden would be the first one of them to do it! |

Two brilliant races in a day when it looked like we wouldn’t get any, can’t grumble about that.

Fantastic racing, happy that R2 and R3 made up for everything that'd happened before.

Great race. Good to see a variety of cars up the front. Had a buffering issue when they showed the replay of DeLeon, Driver error, car failure or pushed?
Lots of spare parts needed for the Fords after that. |

For all that 90% if the day failed to deliver - that race 3 made it all worth while.
As far as touring car races go, that ranks VERY highly - thoroughly enjoyed that! |

Very good races. First time I’ve actually been excited by a BTCC race for a little while. Hopefully this is a sign of a good season to come. Huffy will be on the pace soon once he gets the hang of the car and hybrid.
Thought Jade Edwards done a brilliant job for ITV too. |

Amazing how often Sutton, Ingram and majority of the time Hill just seem to appear at the front of the grid in race 3, they really are a level above anyone else currently.
Great drive from Moffat, hopefully he can find a bit more consistency as that’s always been his weakness. Huff will get there soon I think. Obviously never got see his qualifying pace but he looked quick in race 1 before being wiped out and was quick again in race 2. I think he got beat up a bit for a lap or 2 in race 3 but then held a decent pace once again. Thought Jade Edward’s was fantastic on the ITV Coverage. Refreshing to have a different voice. |
