BIG news on the driver front can only be an ex F1 or NASCAR driver - I would think ... Coulthard maybe?

Martin did suggest that he would be looking for a seat somewhere, Alex probably stays with Greaves if they find a Bronze/Silver driver for the third seat alongside TK-S.

He's said repeatedly he's looking for a drive and wants to add to his class wins - meaning he's aiming for a P2 or GTE seat if possible.

He's also competed at La Sarthe 18 times and only missed the race once since '96. So he's a decent bet.

Aston Martin are really going all out this year, all four cars entered have quite strong lineups. Excited for them, hope they do well-dont know who I want to win now, AF or AMR?

Does anyone know what engine the Rebellion Toyotas will have in them?

Can they play wing men to the Factory cars or are they likely to be quite a bit slower?

Great to see Mako finally get a factory pilot status, he very much deserves it. Im surprised it hasnt happened earlier.

Thats a bit presumption considering the amount of factory entries in that class - he may well be fastest for Aston but its way too early to say who will have the fastest GTE car.

As i posted in another thread, I would definitely have to agree with you here, Fred Mako and Maxime Martin, the standout drivers in GT1 over the past years (and basically any GT they drive) Both rewarded with factory drives at Aston & BMW respectively.
Im interested to see Mako go up against his teamates and the best in the WEC, he certainly showed well against Bruni in the luxury Ferrari at the start of last year.

As far as I know the Rebellions will continue with the FNippon/Super GT derived motor they have been running for the last couple of years. I think the the works cars use an updated version of this engine. Not sure. The TS030s will be significantly quicker than the Rebellions.
