Sorry TCR. My bad. I thought it was a plug for a 'rival' forum and edited it. I see now that it's relevant to the thread. Please go ahead and post the link again.

No probs mate, see you at the track...
Also check out a fellow IPRA competitors website - www.buctonracingteam.com - They run a very quick VB Commodore that i imagine would be very similar to what you are building... Cheers, Paul... Last edited by TCR-028; 22 Dec 2004 at 03:02. |

The easiest way to post pics is with ImageShack
You just upload the pics straight from your computer and it gives you different options for you to use. You can use a clickable thumbnail... Or you can show the full picture... Thanks to ImageShack for Free Image Hosting |

You'll be waiting for ever. This drive in the car might only be a lap the way he's going

Looking good
Are those tyres Yoko 032s? You know they've stopped making them now, and I think they're being replaced by the 048s... |

Yeah they are, they are the control tyre for the category. I tried to buy a set direct through Yokohama direct as the company who I work for is one of there major clients. Anyway over here they will not sell direct you have to go through there motorsport distributor

Well It is nearly time to start it up. I have nearly finished rewiring the car. The problem being is the people who have built the car wired it up in red and black wires only. So it can make it fun chasing electrical issues
The carby has been partially tuned but obviously wont be fully untill the engine is running (Hope fully in the next week or 2) Various holes have been fixed in the fire wall and the problem of the new wheels not fitting will be fixed. The sponsor bought a set of new wheels for the car. He obviously got Commodore pattern being it's one. WRONG, they are Kingswood pattern Now the wheels have to be redrilled. Other than that it has come together much quicker than I ever thought. So hopefully not long now |

Good to see it going well.
I went and worked on my car today. Got the front suspension put back in the car, fixed the oil leak( sump plug washer). Then spent most of the arvo build a new exhaust system from bits and pieces of other exhausts that were lying around. Fun times doing that cuttting bits and getting the angles right. I now have a nice welding sunburnt face. Hopefully Marty will put the manifold on during the week and fire up the car. It will be the first time it has been started in about 12 months. All going well it will be ready for the first round in March. |

The manifold is on the car and it was started yesterday. Need the computer guru to come over now and tell the motec what injectors are in the car so it will run properly.
