Basically, Stu aws alongside into braking area, Hutch squeezed, stu was on the white line had no where to go, they touched hutch spun and stu won!! It was getting to crunch time in the championship so Hutch and Stu were both taking no prisoners - this time stu came off better.

Thanks to jminsh for arranging this through Demon Tweeks

Having just seen the Media form (which even I will have to fill in !!even for my odd foray)

The selection process for above could be influenced by nil info!! DIZ is this commentary blackmail ???
Seriously make the effort & no but you no me exscuses!

I have now had more media forms back from the NW FF boys than the Midlands people! Get your act together lads. If you've not had a form, PM me.

I only emailed it to them at 1849 tonight. I would guess that the score is NW a mighty 2 and SOM a dismal 1.

I don't mean to sound rude in any way shape or form, and this is not meant in an offensive way at all.

I am very pleased for Stuart Gough, he is obviously a very talented driver to achieve what he has against a lot of competative drivers, but is it just me or are these threads filled with messages from karting dad and jnr jnr stating the stuart gough can do no wrong - nothing appears to be Stu's fault or a mistake by stu (apart from when he openly says so himself).

Is this all meant tounge in cheek or is it genuine

Again NO offensive is meant by this, I just have to ask as some of the threads appear boarder line on hero worship.

Matt,
We are obviously all pleased that Stu is progressing and like to think - that in some small way - the NW FF1600 scene has helped him.
Now kartingdad is another kettle of fish. He is the typical father [as his screen name denotes]. If Stu was playing local football and not racing, kd would be creating havoc on the touchline. But you are right about tongue in cheek. kd loves to 'stir things up' and probably has his tongue further implanted in his cheek than most posters on TT.
JnrJnr is just sticking up for his big brother and is hoping to emulate him on track this season.

Just to complicate matters, kd has a nasty habit of jumping onto one of the kids PCs' and posting under their names. Too idle to log in himself.

Afraid to say there was plenty of damage. It actually cracked the block and the bell housing!!!

With everything being carbon fibre its all expensive stuff to replace. Teach me to make a mistake again!

Had it not gone over so slow I'm sure we would of got away with it better. Good news, however, is we will be out at Brands next week.

Awesome. Amazing power, grip and braking. The amount of poke they have out of the corners is the biggest thing. You can really feel the downforce working. Very enjoyable to drive and very challenging. You can really attack with confidence and we are not that much slower then a F3 which is pretty impressive.

Hi Stu.

I heard the engines in those things really are cheap as chips to buy. Jes Unsworth said you don't rebuild, you just replace.

How's the braking?

Not sure how much they are but you have them on a lease contract from Renault Sport. When you take one to be rebuilt they give you another one back straight away if you want.

You can go very deep into the corners and just slam down the box and its so stable with its-impressive stuff.

Glad your enjoying it anyway. Even if some of it has been upside down....................
How did it manage to crack the bell at such low speed though? Did the car come down on it?
