To be honest I would, yeah.
But I doubt I'd really use it. The vast majority of great games are on 360 and I'm part of the Live community now, so it'd be like starting again on PS3. I may have a gander at GT5, but again it's probably pointless as I like Forza better than GT games. |

I adore my 360, it's epic.
but yeah, if someone came up to me and said "Do you want my Ps3?" I'd definitely say yes! |

I've not bothered with a 'next gen' console yet - the PS3 doesn't have enough games, the 360 only has Forza and the wii doesn't really appeal (and any game with Mario in it makes me want to smash the tv). My PS2 will have to carry on for a while yet - at the moment I can find better things to spend the money on.

And its stupid aswell really, like if i get a message during a game on the ps3 i have to exit the game to read it? What sort of you know what.... is that!? I ended up playing ps1 and ps2 games on it.. Then i remembed i already had a Ps2 that would do that anyway. There only hope is with HOME. |

Halo 3 appears to be getting played by everyone today.
My Live friends list just has a long column of people playing it! Terrific game BTW. Sega Rally on Friday too! |

Has anyone played EA's Skate yet? Looks very interesting with one analogue stick used to control the body and one to control the board. Is it better than THPG?

It's very different to TH.
Skate is more realistic, you don't go 5 million feet in the air in every ollie. The controls take some getting used to, but they're cool. |

Can anyone tell me if TRD3 is playable on Xbox 360? Does the Xbox 360 have backwards compatibility problems like the the PS3?

The 360 backwards compatability acctually works properly unlike the ps3, i put GT4 into my EX-PS3 and it ran like crap.
Check the xbox360 compatability list on xbox.com ; Unlike the PS3 which gives a half arsed aproach on doing Backwards compatability. |

I got it to work easy. The update should have downloaded to play that (and others) when you first hit Live.
I think if that fails you can burn the update onto a cd-rom from the XBox site and install it that way. |

I'm thinking about getting an Xbox 360 because it seems to have the better games at the moment plus Xbox live sounds great..but... in terms of steering wheels..what's the best?? I have the GT4 Logitech Driving Pro - its great..I don't want to go backwards..does the Xbox 360 support this wheel or the G25 which is the gun steering wheel at the moment???

I know the 360 doesn't support the G25, which is a shame.
But I think logitech have a wheel out for the 360, aswell as the M$ wireless wheel. Think they like catching fire though... |

Yep I've got a Logitech Drive FX for the 360 (I did have the M$ wheel but didn't like it) and a Logitech Driving force pro for the PS2, the DFP is way better than anything available for 360 but the racing games on 360 are ATM far superior to anything for PS3.
As for what's the best wheel for 360? The M$ and Logitech wheels are both OK but that's about all, the M$ one has started developing a problem where it overheats and catches fire which is supposed to be getting sorted I didn't like the M$ wheel because it was nowhere near as good as a DFP yet it cost me twice as much, and the wheel didn't clamp onto my race seat very securely. The Logitech wheel was less than half the price, and clamped to my seat more securely so I got my money back for the M$ wheel and bought a Logitech one. There's a pic of my wheels here: http://tentenths.com/forum/showthrea...=100690&page=2 The only real downside to the Drive FX wheel compared to the DFP is the size of the pedal plate, it's a bit too fiddly and small. At the moment my the only wheel I have is a Logitech Wingman Formula GP.
About 4 years old now, and soooo bad... I can never get it to centre, and whenever I lift off the throttle the wheel twitches... |
