In my opinion that was the best GT3 bathurst 12 hour we have had.

no sc for last hour meant we got a great enduro finish

shame about erebus pit stuff up

That nail-biting final lap on this race! While Chiyo-san closed the gap, the Giz pulled the McLaren away for their first victory at Mt. Panorama!

Congrats to Gisbergen and Tekno Autosports for this year! As for Nismo, I hope they fared better for next year!

Great stuff. The cars and the course were the big appeal but the teams and drivers made this a fabulous event. One of my favorite events on the year!

That's cutting it a bit fine Shane, but it was as comfortable a win as could be expected. Congratulations to SVG, Parente, Webb and the Tekno team.

It also marks the first major victory for McLaren's GT3 factory with a certain Bas Leinders at the helm.

Fantastic race. Great weekend all round. Despite a lot of people saying fewer cars would make for a better race the small field was glaringly obvious and we need more cars next year.

Only 48 days to the 6 Hour, can't wait.

On TV it was better, less time spent under SC 40 laps compared to 73

higher rate of DNFs this year 44% compared to 32%

last year 198 laps of green flag racing This year 257 so about 2 hours extra of green flag racing

Feel free to actually turn up at a race meeting and see what it is really like.

This is endurance GT/Sportscar racing not V8 Supercars.

We need a bigger field next year.
