No restrictors, turbo pressure maximum 4 bar, LMP1 has to be a coupe, holes on the fenders will move to the inside of the wheel arches, maximum widt 1.90 meters, increased visibility by putting the driver in a higher position, with increased roof height. |

not so much, as the system will be based on the flow of fuel PER LAP. So you can built a 6 liter V12 with twin turbos and 900 BHP, but it has to be able to complete a lap with the given a mount of petrol. Factory teams get less petrol to work with than privateers. (for which LMP1 was not meant in the first place, but that is another matter)
AS a side note, diesel will be allowed for LMP2 in 2013... |
