Mine arrived too, in a not 100% state. What took them so long?

Yep, mine is here today too although I haven't opened it yet. I had been exchanging emails with Isabelle at the ACO about the missing pack for a month or so....

Luckily for me, it seems, mine's in good nick and ready to go on the shelf with the boxes containing the previous seven years....... (the rest are out of the boxes and filed away somewhere...... ).

In fact, I realise now that I've been a member for over 20 years. I first joined in 1997.

yep mine turned up today, box was ok but inside stuff all over the place as all the polystyrene bits to hold it in place still had the covers over the sticky side, Still nice to get something nice in the post rather than bills

Arrived here too, why so late, packing was damaged, seems like the box could not resist the weight if the books and the handling by the mailman.

Some news from the local papers. The starting line could move 130 meters far from the actual place from Tavano grandstand to Lagache or Leonard Grandstand. Not still really confirmed but it could be realized for "a better public' comfort".

why? at the start the cars will all be foot flat to the floor and at the end they will be waving at the crowd.

I don't know. Maybe more comfort mean more people to see the checkered flag and the start...............

Won't make much difference to Ayse and I, but I do like the idea. The race always starts with just a handful of cars on the pits straight, the rest of the field seemingly missing out on the big moment, with the majority of the them still crawling around the Ford Chicane. Not sure 130 metres will make a great deal of difference though.

This weekend it is the Antwerp Classic Salon, with as main themes 70 years Porsche 356, 70 years Citroën 2CV and the 24 Hours of Le Mans
I wonder how many of 'the winning cars' they will be exhibiting http://www.antwerpclassicsalon.be/en...rs-of-le-mans/ |

Not sure what the weather is doing in antwerp Vince but here in the uk it is banten down the hatches, centimetres of snow and temps often under 0, government is advising everyone to stay indoors until spring comes. Enjoy the show and see you in May if the snow has gone by then.

It's cold yes, but not stay-in-home-till-spring cold, so I'll be visiting the car show

No longer active on facebook, so started on Flickr. Pictures of the Antwerp Classic Salon, with Le Mans cars, and 2CVs . Only winner present was the 1935 Lagonda, which was on loan from the Louwmans Museum. An album of my recent visit to said museum also present in my Flickr. All in all the Antwerp Classic Salon was a bit underwhelming, I am glad I am a local and didn't had to travel. Still, my Flickr Albums might be of interest to some amongst you, so here goes:
