He was saying that the max tank size for the Aston is 100 and they couldn't go above that. |

He was a bit misinformed anyway (Graham had to correct him they had lost the 5 liter BoP help at the end of 2013 WEC and were just now awarded extra 5 back for test day) |

I think they opened a big can of worms. Last year a Ferrari 458 in the hands of Bruni, Vilander, Fisi was able to regularly do 15 lap stints on 85 Litres of fuel with drivers cooperation and fuel maps. Lap times dipped to 3:59. On stints in the 3:59-3:58, the car ran 14 laps. Keep in mind the pace at the front was 3:56's and 57's from Aston and Porsche. This year with the extra 5 litres in the Ferrari it could allow being able to run 15 laps without having to save fuel. Corvette may be able to achieve the same. Last year's Porsche could run 14 lap stints.
Last year's Aston could run 14 laps. Bruno Senna had a quite unbelievable stint late race last year. The laps times went 3.55, 3.55,3.57, 3.55, 3.56,3.55,3.56,3.56,3.56,3.56,3.55,4.01 plus the in and out laps. To achieve that pace over 14 laps last year with a car that hasn't changed that much and to now be struggling to run 14 laps at a pace above 4 minutes. I think they are fishing. |

The update kit for the Ferrari 458s are quoted by Sportscar365 as being 175.000 dollars. Wow I knew micheletto was expensive but this doesn't seem a big update with most of the difference being at the nose.

Am I the only one thinking differently here? John Dagys article points out that (http://sportscar365.com/lemans/leman...rday-notebook/)

Le Mans is Le Mans after all. Everyone shows up for Le Mans. Just like in Tennis, the top guys usually pull it together at the Grand Slams. Bitter about the Djokovic loss though..Nadal is insane.

Off-topic: Nadal is a machine, and I mean that in the nicest way possible. The way he constantly makes the running cross-court shots with so much power behind them has its own beauty (although as a Federer fanboy all other tennis players look somewhat brutish to me.) |

Matt or Sam is whom I meant.
Of course you did say "return to Le mans" which I should've picked up upon on first reading. |
