The 250km Radical race (and the Radical Club Cup) will take place on the Saturday, leaving Sunday as sprint races only.

We do listen, you see....

I'm still waiting for the tech regs to be confirmed (but I know they will be positively received) but the confirmation of the three sprint races and the schedule being amended to theme the weekend I think is a brilliant one. Our Championship winning Corsa is already allocated for next year and we hope to keep the same driver in the Astra but we also have a new M3 out as well. All we need is a driver for the Class C corsa we are building and we're good to go!

Oh we wrote up an end of season report in case anyone was interested, its here:

It seems to have gone a little quiet on the great and british front as there was talk of some new championships heading the the package,i'd like to see the Ginetta G20s back in but that just my preferance

Draft regs are out and do indeed reflect the changes we suggested, so that is fantastic news. All we need now are a few minor adjustments along with a confirmation on tyres and I will be a happy bunny indeed. Ref registration, its a bit toppy at the moment so we've suggested something a little more wallet friendly, hopefully that will be heard.

When they announce it I reckon there will be a few people quite impressed (some of them begrudgingly) as to the changes.

Any idea when the regs will be released, the BARC site has next to no info and my presentation is awaiting the budget figures.

I can't move forward with partners until we have the full picture.

Not sure how much I should say but certainly race entry fees are around the £400 mark per weekend for 3 x 20 sprint races. I'd asume a max cost of around £3k per year in terms of fees etc and hopefully will be lower.

Tyre budget will depend on car of course but we've been doing extensive testing for Dunlop and if they go with the tyre that we hope they will then you're looking at a set of tyres perhaps lasting half a season but at the same time transforming the cars in terms of handling. Fingers crossed

Series is certainly getting more attention, most of this years teams are back in and I heard of another Astra VXR being prepped only this morning....its looking good.

Interesting stuff.

We might be bringing a Honda along next year, just working with a few partners to secure funding for a brand new car.

If you wish to be included on the mailing list I'd suggest you give the series co-ordinator Nicola Bush a call 01264 882209.
Good luck.
