Mamma mia!!! There are about 13-14 FLM chassis sold in Europe (more now because FLM can run on the main series). Where on hell they will place all the cars?

Next year would be about 30 LM1+LM2, plus 12 FLM... 40 prototypes. And there will be also about 20 GTs, maybe more..... It´s almost impossible make run 60 cars on a 4km circuit, rush hour comes to LMS.

Sounds great, and they are near compliant for 2011 P2 (i'm sure the engine size thing can be overlooked by the ACO in the same way they overlook a lot of things in GT2 )

Joe Saward has said on his blog that from his perspective, Colin had not been 'at' Force India for all of 2009, just employed in name.

The FLM cars will have a restrictor for the Lemans series, they will be faster than GT2, but not as P2 (maybe like GT1)

The Panoz GTP did a second or so quicker laps in 2004 while being under LMP1, why not get them running in that class? Better looking anyway

Something tells me they're expecting lower numbers of something, otherwise they wouldn't have much room for FLM cars. I have doubts that the P1 and P2 count will reach 30 in 2010. I think maybe 50 cars can be reached regularly, now, though.

Indeed, Kolles already was replaced as team principal by Force India owner Vijay Mallya last November, but remained contracted to the team until recently.

And notable, he attended the last F1 race in Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as a guest of the Williams team...

E-I mentions that the Bruichladdich Bruneau Radical was at the Dunlop test. I thought they were selling that car?

I don't see that Speedy is necessarily going for an all-female car, they are testing 3 girls and 2 guys. The common thread is that the drivers are young and Swiss, not what their genders are. Whether all, or any, of them are in the frame for a drive is not clear, though Beche, Hirschi and Gachnang all have some sort of sportscar experience already.

It's been for sale for a while, though they have recently relisted it with 2010 configuration updates. Whether they are planning on racing it if they don't sell it, testing potential buyers in it now, or showing it off in 2010 spec for potential buyers isn't clear to me. I don't think it contradicts them selling it at any rate.

2 Seperate teams in name only. ACO rules state only two cars per team. Hence Audi racing as both Audi Racing Team Joest and Audi Racing North America

With the FLM cars in the field next year, how will circuits be able to accomodate for 50+ cars? I'm sure many don't have enough pit boxes.

I believe the reason the LMS is adding the FLM cars is because they don't expect to be anywhere near 50 cars total.

Well, I read it as the ACO wanted to keep FLM going but the grid sizes weren't big enough to have stand alone races. The truth I would imagine is somewhere in between.

They're having an endurance upgrade aswell, which I would imagine would include headlights (they'll probably find those handy in Portimao).

Will the ALMS FLM cars receive the same upgrade?

Once again, Dunlop choose the Estoril race track to, during 2 days, start the definition of the 2010 tyres range. Present were four teams, The ASM Team, with its Ginetta-Zytec, the Bruichladdich Radical, the two Lolas of the Swiss Speedy Sebah and factory BMW M3 GT2.

Unfortunatly, when he were there only ASM was running consistently, working in the car setup with Pais do Amaral, while Olivier Pla took over in the afternoon, to test some tyre compounds.

The Radical was on its pits, with the crew working in the air box of the AER engine. The Sebah and BMW cars were also on the pits, and the teams didn't allow any pictures.
