I think a high 3:24 can be the pole time. For the AMR cars if they can get under 3:40 i think they will be happy, some big problems on the straight line speed.

Thanks for this

The #7 Peugeot has the splits for a 3:27.2

Peugeot has the fastest 2nd and 3rd sector times over Audi by a healthy half second in each

The AMR looks too big and bulky to be fast down the straights. What were they thinking when designing it?

Still lots of sandbagging going on, Peugeot wasn't willing to show their hand just yet.

Qualifying will be exciting

vlad1977 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Montagny predicted a pole time of 3:25.5
If rain is forecast for tomorow, then teams may be willing to go flat out in the first quali session.

Anyone got a line on trap/top speeds, looks like the Pescarolo/Rebellion/Oak cars have to be pretty close, how far off are the AMR1 cars in top speed?

I don't believe anyone has shown there cards yet. Remember Peugeot got burned in qualifying at Spa, you may be right about a good qualifying session tonight if tomorrow shows rain in the forecast...

I dont know, Of course Prodrive/AMR can work miracles but they seem to have missed the boat with this car, Still i remain hopefull they can improve it and at least fight with the Pescarolo and Rebellion cars. I would guess if the week continues as it has started for AMR they will just use the race as a test session.

On other things AMR related nice to see both the Vantages going well but i bet they are a little frustrated that theyve had to go back to last years spec. Sounds alot nicer though imo.

This GTE Pro battle is shaping up to be one of the most exciting class races since 1999. Right now I can think of about 11 cars that can win this class plus possibly the Am Ferrari F430s from Risi and Krohn.
