OK, some rumors are running arounf in the FIA Gt community. So I thought I'd discard the false ones and leave the more credible ones.
- Panoz to race in FIA Gt with Esperante model.
- GPC under heavy financial burden and unlikely to compete in 2005
- Vitaphone Team : 2 MC12 for 2005 the other 2 are likely to be run by AF Corse
- Nobody willing to race 575s.
I'll let you guess the rest...

Yes, they do not have the money for two MC12s, so they are keeping the 550s and going to LMES

Yes indeed, some good news for the LMES GT1 class - a bit of a loss for the FIA GT championship but the series is strong enough to continue without any real major effect I think.

wow,, so basically in 2005, there will be no Lambos or 575's. what a shame. so we will only have 550's, Saleens, and Maseratis that will be competitive and enter every race.

but what about JMB? they are not getting the Maseratis? then what will they race instead? (it seems like you are saying that nobody will race 575's next year)

Maybe the Lamborghini program will be picked up by somebody else, but it is as all GTs, awfully expensive.
That is also why BMS is leaving the series and going to LMES.

They are not going to confirm it, but there are very good chances. Besides, nobody else came up with the money...

Slightly unrelated but www.lmsr.net today reports that the Murciealgo has been seen testing at Misano recently with Peter Kox at the wheel. Perhaps this car will have found additional speed and reliabilty for customers come the start of the 2005 season? I sure hope so.

The problem with the Murc seems to be that it's blistering fast in the hands of Reiter/Kox/Gavin, but causes problems if they leave those hands and go to a customer.

@Gabrio: Interesting rumour about GPC, I always thought JMB was the financially weaker team of those two.

Hopefully Lamborghini and Audi Sport realise the project is dead if they don't do some extra effort.

It looks like Reiter intends to further develop the car for 2005 as this is the second (winter) testing session.

The only developments have been studied directly by Audi Sport. Reiter does not have the technical capabilities to develop the car.

Does anybody know the status of the Hezemans-Corvette-rumours? There were stories that he was looking after it, there were rumours about him having bought one already, that they'd visited the US to look at the cars, etc. Anybody has a update on these?

Does anyone have the latest list for GT1.

With BMS, GPC and DAMS gone who is left? Will GNM or RML continue?

BTW, reading the story about BMS' 2005 plans, it seems like they may well not be back in FIA GT in 2006, as has been rumoured!

Is the invitation class an added extra or a necessity to boost grids in 2005?

GNM will stay, RML is known to be leaving for a longer time already as RML is going to do the WTCC Chevrolets and Mike Newton is going to focus on his prototypes.

If - as has been reported elsewhere - Larbre are entering a Ferrari 550 at Sebring, does this mean they will or won't be entering the FIA series?
