The car looks sharp; good luck. Sorry about the ****-take on TKR but I couldn't resist it.

Eek, if I've read the web address on the car right you need to sort it out!

Our marketing manager once sent out an email that referred in the same sentence to business development as BD and sales and marketing as SM. I advised him against it but he couldn't understand what I was going on about...

There's a few more on the entry list so we may see some more tomorrow. Andrew Anderson said he was keen to race but his entry may have been past the cutoff as he's not on the list.

Well someone was driving the #70 Anderson car today at HD.

Some of them do in fact look really good, excellent liveries etc.

I got talking to the owner of another TL car (cant remember his name or car number sorry) who said that his car had been disqualified from the CC cos it had an LS3 in it!

Now he is intending on running it with the GT's, and he is sure he will get eaten.

Thats Tony Anderson in his AV8 holden. The LS3 upgrade was intended to be paired with engine upgrades ( new headers etc ) for the Falcons, but that seemed to fall through. So now his car with the LS3 isnt eligble to run in the CC.

This is a simple one to answer.
Entry was not too late and there was no issue with the cutoff, simply put I am involved with the TV broadcast so offered the car for my father Bruce to drive given his CMC 1969 Mustang is engine'less at present.

Yep rather than Pre65 he's close to Post65 racing, so the soon to be pensionier is mixing it with the young boys and will be half a change of a great result - watch this space.

Cheers

Why is the Jason Richards trophy going to be handed out at Taupo and not the grand finale at Puke?

Seems a weird move to be honest as you would have expected such a trophy to be handed out at the end of the championship

Probably to ensure the trophy goes to a fulltime NZV8 competitor, as i assume there will be a large influx of one off entries for Puke

But I didn't say that.
So there is two options really, either the ST fan club is trolling. Again.
Or option two I can't comment on due to forum rules.

Now I'm down with the petty games. Back to Bathurst. Where they like to run proper cars.

Proper cars with excatly the same chassis as a V8ST by the way.....

Hmmm, that is odd. Their performance wasn't that good last time though, was it?

Is there a timetable for the weekends racing at Taupo? Not interested in the V8s, but I'd like to watch the support classes, and the enduro. Have to work Saturday morning though, would only be heading down for the Sunday. Can't find anything on the nzV8 or Taupo sites. Cheers.
