Can't remember what happened with the 92 car but 90 got hit by Patrick Long.

Crazy start so far.

The Ferrari has found speed again, going faster than the rest.

Did I hear Hindy say someone was doing 189.5mph up the straight?

If it is the case, I can only think that it must be Jon Field.

d'oh, what the heck was going on with De Ferran?
Nice to see the P2s on pace with the P1 Acura so we'll still have a race.

This is amazing. I can't believe the Mazdas are sticking to the back of the Acura like this. Acura really must be falling apart. Like Hindy just said, this will make next year spectacular!

EDIT: And then they bin it =(

Had to pop out to answer the phone and when I came back Marino had lost loads of positions in the pits. Can anyone fill me in on what happened?

Race went to hell and back.

- 16 Dyson is out since Chris binned it.
- 20 Dyson lost time because of Gil de Ferran's crash and a bunch of oil from de Ferran getting on his windscreen

The new pace car rules are showing their importance.

Brabham is on fire! It's unbelievable, he is just consistently putting inlaps in the 1:06 range. The best lap for the #66 is a 1:07.4!

Brabham's times have fallen off. Pagenaud has closed the gap to only 6.1 seconds.
