I'm going to watch!
And take too many photos no doubt! So if anyone is racing and wants some photos of themselves let me know.

Zola should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hi, I have some fantastic pix of all the racing, just need to learn how to put them on, I will check out FAQ's. My other half managed to get a press pass and spent whole weekend snapping away...

I lost oil pressure in the first Alfa race after qualifying 20th out of 49 and 11th in the U2TC race.

My first time at Monza - what a "BELISSIMO" circuit, quite hard on the car with brakes, high kerbs and the long, long straights.

A fantastic experience and met some great people, my italian is improving slightly....

Great, that's promises of pics from 3 of you. Just remember that if you are not posting thumbnails, to ensure the images are not too large and comply with the size stipulated in the FAQs, please!

The first practice 9am on the Friday morning was so so slippy, i was doing lap times of 3 mins plus, awful... glad so say though after track had dried out and the sun showed itself it was great. Took a bit of time to learn stopping distances into those chicanes - but it was great... kerbs with gullies on meant you quite weren't sure which way your front wheels would be pointing on ur exit.... All real Good Fun..

Can't seem to find the results for GTSCC. I hear there were some cars thrown out. Any ideas?

The car was originally owned by Jeremy Lewis when it was a rally car and then previously by Paul Merryweather - i believe it was competed successfully in the Safety Devices championship. I have owned her for approx 3 years.

I wondered what Paul had done with it,you are lucky to have a car once owned by such a fastidious owner! As I remember,a real cracker to drive.

Monza pics

John, and in fact all others who were either there or just want to get a fix of cars in Italy. Will work out the way to post pictures and get a few of the good ones up. Zola has all the same pics so I'm sure between us we can get some on here!

If anyone was out there and would like some of themselves then please pm me as I have close to a thousand pics!

What a fabulous circuit, you can smell and feel the history there, and the locals were most friendly and helpful.

And I'm sure if Whizzo used all the wheels in the wet he may have been quicker! Playing to the crowd? Surely not!

Benjy Straw should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I would guess that the lack of GTSCC results is something to do with timekeeping complications arising from the exclusion of the first car over the line. It was Cobra #83, Steve Hitchins and Bernard Peruch. Flavien said it had been disqualified because the engine was found to have been "highly tuned" (funny, isn't that half the point?), but the Stewards announcement was a bit more specific - non-conformity of the rockers and gearbox.
Here is a scan of the printed results.
A great weekend, in spite of some dodgy weather.
