We have official confirmation of both cars now being operable! Testing with the other car, and so far not reporting any issues staying away from the P2 cars testing at the same time.

are they using the full lenght straight layout?
any news about top speeds? recall kolles lmp1 doing 350km/h 2 or 3 years ago when was testing there |

about reliability, it seems they had only a power cable issue which is good considering that is some kind of issue that can happen anytime to any car. New 2021 michelin specs seems to have a drastic drop off in the second stint... are 2021 michelins based on toyota tires? recall back in 2018 and 2019 smp and rebellion complaining the same due tires better adapting to toyota AWD necessities than a RWD car. |

There are two different sizes though that are meant to allow for different car characteristics. Whether there is more flexibility that is not 100% clear, but I don’t think so.

Michelin will have to come up with a RWD-suitable Hypercar tire sooner or later for the hordes of VW LMDh cars. So why not use these 2 years to get real world feedback from Glickenhaus?

Rain forecast all weekend at the Nurburgring for the 24H; ughhghgh. Jim, hope your car has enough downforce to be both sticky and fast on the track in the rain. Rain makes it a much more open race now at least; getting close to the front in qualifying (or early in the race) will be key to build a gap to those behind you (who are more beholden to spray and slower cars) in the first couple of hours
