Yes, I've heard about this before. It's amazing. The work that must have gone into making a 1:3 scale version of the V12 defies belief.

Wasn't his next project a P3 or P4 Ferrari? I have no idea whether it came (or is coming) to fruition or not.

Most definately a genius.

I've found this site (amongst many others) which sells kits so that you can make your own miniature engines;
