Ok, as an enthusiastic marshal, member of HSCC, thank you to all the teams who raced this year in the Masters Series, at the Silverstone Classic, CSCC, HRDC and HSCC. Thoroughly enjoyed waving flags at you all! See you in 2012 with more Super Saloons (yes I can remember them first time round - where are the cars that John Pope (Vauxhall Magnum Aston), Colin Hawkers DFV Capri, Tony Strawsons Capris (in various guises), oh the list can go on and on!!
Oh, and more Chevrons please, and can some of you come to the proper meeting, Pageant of Power at Choldmondeley??

I take offence to your good wishes and only want to wish you a Happy Winter Festival.

What we need is a discussion on MSA timekeepers running their computerised system inside a kit car masquerading as a Lotus Cortina being driven by a professional driver who doesn't respect the traditions of old guys enjoying themselves in racing cars, before entering a sports car in the 360.

There. Two posts. Controversy. Covers all the bases of 2011, here's to another cantankerous year in 2012.

Merry Christmas one and all, look forward to seeing everyone at the Ace.

Is this a genuine good wishes thread or just a pretend one with continuation words in it? Whatever it turns out to be may I not be the first to wish everyone a merry Christmas and a very healthy new year, especially John smith.

Christmas is a continuation, genuine, not a replica, but not the original, is that suitably obtuse?

seasons greetings to one and all.

Like to thank all the driver and teams who raced all historic cars this season.
The Silverstone Classic was IMHO the best yet and I still can't forget gt917 driving around Snetterton in that wonderful car and, not forgetting Delta's wonderful hospitality.
A Merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Year to you all.

May I also wish everybody a Happy Christmas, a safe and prosperous New Year and an original, rebuilt, continuous, replicated season, with or without FIA papers.
Thank you Tim and others for your good wishes and I've been ovewhelmed by the kindness and support of so many ....... but I'm sure your all guilty of something - I just haven't found out what yet.
See some of you at the Ace.

John, if you think you can kid us that a Christmas Tree can think then you ARE suffering from the Season Spirit very early or you are being deliberately controversial.

Happy Christmas & a Healthy New Year to all.

May we all continue with our own version of Historic Racing, in genuine, replica, recreations, evocations or whatever we wish to call them as long as we call them as they are and keep expressing our opinions on here.

See some of you at The Ace for a healthy end to 2011

Are you talking about the real pagan winter solstice festival or the hijacked Christian "replica"?

Should Santa really be green? I believe his original homologation papers said green and it was only after the controversial Coke-A-Cola update in the 50's that he became red!

Must be the latter,it should never be allowed!

Which ever way you view this pain in the a***s time of year, hope next year is better for all. Enjoy the Ace get together, sadly I'll not be over here for the usual p*** taking and other merriment this get together brings, instead I shall be enduring a 4 star stay in a Hotel somewhere very close to a well known European circuit.

The scrutineers took one look at our tree and wouldn't let it out of the box due to not having a cage on it, despite my protestations that it is a pre 1960 plastic tree and doesn't require one had no effect at all.
