I thought if it didn't have a "P" in a blue box on the left, that meant it was on track. And highlighted in grey means best in class.
Perhaps, bold means just crossed the line.

You are correct. P means in the pit,
gray highlights with names looking like hyperlinks= best in class
bold = recently crossed line
blue background= new fas lap for car

At least from what I can tell so far, this is how it works.

Acura did run 1:44.8 in Winter testing, so they haven't reached their full potential yet.

I can't say they can guarentee setting those same lap times, weather conditions considered.

Well Acura has narrowed the gap to Peugeot at least. And just because 1 car is faster in practice does not equal race pace. Remember the Pescarolos at Le Mans a few years back. Clearly superior to the Audi cars on pace, but not on reliability.
Of course, having said that, reliability is not an Audi weakness....usually. Still, it was a Spyder that won last year.
It's why they race gentlemen, and it's why we watch.

The Acura is designed for massive grip. So with more rubber on the track the gap with Peugeot might be even smaller during the race. Of course the diesel torque helps with overtaking; the Acuras will have to overtake in the brake zones and corners.

Midweek motorsport will be a sebring preview tomarow and from thursday on RLM will be covering qually, testing etc.
