The point I was trying to make is that the level of competition at the top in F1 is higher than LMP1 or any sports car racing and that success might not translate.
Also manufacturers can get a lot of Le Mans wins with no serious competition.Audi through most of the first decade of this century.Toyota since 2018.
I think Andreas is a very good operator and if he is left to run the team the way he wants to will do a good job.

I think you underestimate the top level of competition at Le Mans or the WEC, but you've got a point. When Porsche, Audi and Toyota competed it was feral, but when Toyota was the only top dog left it was of course not the same. F1 doesn't often let longer stretches like that happen.


I think Seidl will do a killer job.

I think Seidl will do a killer job.
Le Mans is my favourite race in the world by some margin.I was at a number of those classic 2014-2017 races and it was intense.That’s not a word you would use about the outright battles since.This year will be interesting but I think Toyota may be ahead of the game still.
