And Ram announcement on Monday, which will put us at 32

Enduro also just got a new Audi GT3 probably ex-WRT. Doubt that will see BGT this last minute though

Ram Racing - Mercedes AMG GT3 - Raffaele Marciello / John Ferguson

Well that’s a statement.

From memory Ferguson isn’t wildly fast though, be interesting to see if Marciello’s pace is enough to carry them to wins here

Last remaining question mark is the second Race Lab car, no news on that or scheduled announcement so may be last minute getting drivers together or even a race by race entry

With the grid now basically complete, its a shame there's no Newbridge Motorsport Aston Martin GT4 (with Topham and Turner) and no Speedworks Toyota Supra.

It is a very strong grid this year - only a couple of "less good" GT3 and GT4 lineups. In both classes its very hard to predict a champion! There's at least 10-12 GT3s capable of winning races.

Without a doubt, the ex-Ferrari Academy Marciello is very quick, but I think that the Loggie/Gounon pairing will be stronger particularly as both pairs are in Mercs.

RAM Racing is under a new management team this year (but with plenty of Touring Car experience) whereas 2 Seas have won pretty much everything they have entered.

It's going to be fascinating to watch the season unfold!

Lello is undoubtly one of the fastest in GT3's, but the nice thing about BGT is that its almost more important to have a fast AM. So will be interesting to see how that works. I agree Loggie/Gounon would still be my pick for favourite coming into the season

Last share of this before tomorrows entry list reveal. The only car with any question on is the second Racelab car. Mclaren jut announced Tom Gamble as a factory driver, but he hasnt got a seat. Maybe hes in the second Racelab?... Speculation entirely there, as theres an unfilled Mclaren in GTWC too.

It may be that the 2nd Racelab car ends up as partial season, or was only ever a hope not a concrete plan

3rd Racelab car would make it 34!

Have to say, the way BGT announce entries weekly, at scheduled times weekly, has to be the best way to build excitement for the season out of all the GT series. Really nicely managed consistently every year

Late entries from RACELAB - James Kell and Iain Campbell (McLaren 720S GT3)
&
Toro Verde - Joe Wheeler and TBA (Ginetta G56 GT4)

I noticed Jack Brown and Charles Clarke (Optimum McLaren Artura GT4) didn't get mentioned on this forum but was announced on March 1st.

Possibly a consequence of some of my previous interactions, but my Facebook timeline has been full of British GT news the last fortnight and it has definitely had the desired effect on me: I'm really excited for this season!

The Enduro R8 will be running in the Britcar series. That means 2 R8 GT3s for that series and its an ex Car Collection Car. I imagine Clutton will be co driving with Peter Erceg.

Nice, never really pay much attention to that series. BGT and GT Cup is plenty enough for me!

Didnt really notice that only 4 of the cars are not Mercedes or Mclaren.

Is this Borodin guy safe to be out there in a GT3 car? In GT Cup he struggled to get ahead of the GT4 cars and his fastest lap in practice for this weekend is a 42.7 some 10 seconds off the fastest GT3 time

I'm not at the venue so can only look at results, but looking at Q1 (GT3) and Q3 (GT4) 17 of the 18 GT4 cars were quicker than Borodin and he was a full 8 seconds slower than the 17th placed GT3 car.

Looking at Ollie Webb’s time I’m wondering if things are not right with the car too, not sure he’s likely to be slowest of the pros out there.
Not to say Borodin might be out of his depth in BGT

Followed GT Cup all last year and he was always the slowest GT3 in that grid. There should be a minimum time to hit otherwise he'll be a walking chicane. I don't get how amateurs can seemingly get on a now very premium grid without any real success or pace to back up. I know this is harsh but it's a bad look for the series and dangerous.

Think a number of teams are struggling so far to adjust to the 720s Evo upgrade hence why they aren't on the pace compared with Merc's etc
