It seems that Larbre has taken them up (Saleens), so that idea is out!

Well it sure seemed like Fernandez wanted to come back in 08 with his own car, but(?). And Lowes showed that they were willing to spend the money to get there.

I think that the original idea form Acura was Le Mans in 2008, so if Fernandez does go back in 2008, I would expect to see him in an Acura.

It sure would be great to see a few Porsche Spyder P2 cars in 2008 at LM24.

Team Penske would be ideal. I bet that is a discussion Mr. Penske is having with Porsche this winter. who will pay for the Penske team to compete at the 08 LM 24?

No-one, Porsche refuse, remember? They're still not 100% it will last 24 hours untroubled, and their car is not suited to LM (apparently). So I reckon if anyone does, Dyson might.

We should see a couple probably. VM Motorsports, Team Essex (?), or maybe the Horag Lista car.

Ya, I had remembered reading that somewhere but was thinking that maybe if (way out there) there was someone who wanted to race at LeMans and did not want to take the whole team (Dyson) and did have a few resources freed up (not running in GARRA this year) that maybe the maxim of "Never say never" might apply.**Total and sheer speculation**

Not the first time that the team has offered an opinion that they feel they get better racuing value with a programme that avoids the inevitable expense of LM.

Of that, there is absolutely no doubt!

But, it would appear that Romain Dumas expects to be back behind the wheel of a Pescarolo next June (as does Henri) and that, to me, signals another Penske no-show.

I reckon the only ALMS Spyder thats likely to be seen at Le Mans next year will be the Consus chassis .

Penske have no interest on their own , and Dyson only ever talks about it .

I think dyson could raise the budget and get a team there; i just think, like penske, they're unwilling without any factory backing at all.

Dyson has the budget if he wanted too .

They talked about it with their R&S , and everything since !!! It would be great to see them at Le Mans though .

2007 Le Mans Series GT2 champions, Virgo Motorsport, have confirmed (to DSC) that they will be taking up their automatic Le Mans entry. Rob Bell has signed for 2008 and will lead the driver squad.
