Williams or McLaren

Which one of these teams do you think will be stronger this year? Who will finish highest of these two in the Constructors' Championship? My prediction is McLaren, they are looking very strong - TGF also thinks they will be stronger rivals than Williams will be (I read that story yesterday, but now I can't relocate the link).

So, what do you think? Who will be stronger - Williams or McLaren?

Williams will take the early lead; but if you believe the hype about the MP4/18A being a supercar - it may even challenge Ferrari!

Yes, McLaren for sure.
Being a big fan of everything McLaren since I first got interested in F1 seriously (1996), but also as an opinion, I also believe they will be 2nd overall this year.

As a racing team, I believe they are the best in F1.

Well if it is valid to take anything from Friday quals, it is that the williams is an "also ran" car this year.

Mclaren because they're still using their old car and were quick today, whereas Williams's new car seems to have gone backwards...

I didn't spot JPM doing anything really wrong in his qual lap, but the time achieved was really not impressive at all.

He says he can't understand why he was so slow - the car was balanced fine...

off topic a bit; does anyone think Berger is being pushed as a fall guy perhaps?

A lot of negative stuff has been said at Williams about their car. However, we have yet to see what they are capable of. It's got to be one dog of a car if the new BMW isn't enough to make it fast.

WOW this is one lopsided poll! Jessums no faith in Williams guys? heheh can't blame you I voted for McLaren too! I think they made some large errors in the design of their new car (since BAR stole their main man in this dept.) heheheh

Doesn't it seem sad that drivers like Fisichella, Coultard, Barrichello, and Ralf all have secure seats in F1, despite having had race winning cars for many more seasons than Jacques, yet failing to chalk up as many wins as he (let alone a WDC) that it is Jacques who doesn't have a drive in F1??? Sad indeed.

Mclaren look sharp. The new rear wing on their car also proves Newey hasnt lost his touch. Cant wait to see the new Mclaren.

Maybe BAR could claim the open Williams spot then if their engines don't go 'Boom!' too often?

The McLaren choice is obvious, i think.
